Louisiana Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee
“Our mission is to develop leadership for women, promote agriculture and develop public understanding of the value and need of agriculture.”
Each year our committee promotes agriculture at the Northeast Louisiana AgExpo and spearheads special activities such as leadership conferences, agricultural tours, the veterans homes project, and Our Food Link. Our committee supports youth programs, including the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation Talent, Talk Meet, and Queen’s contests. Parish committees also work at the local level to bring nutritional awareness to consumers.

2024 Women’s leadership conference
Each spring, the Louisiana Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee really leans into part of the name -- leadership -- at its annual spring conference. This year, the conference was held in northeast Louisiana. As TWILA’s Karl Wiggers shows us, this was a tasty event for men and women of all ages.
