Louisiana Farm Bureau Collegiate discussion meet
The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers & Ranchers Collegiate Discussion Meet is a leadership competition designed to give college students the opportunity to discuss important issues facing agriculture. The competition simulates a committee meeting where participants actively engage in discussion, analyze agricultural issues, and work together to explore solutions.
Rather than a debate, the Collegiate Discussion Meet challenges participants to become productive thinkers, active listeners, and effective problem-solvers. Through constructive conversation and cooperative problem-solving, students will build valuable communication and leadership skills, gain a deeper understanding of agricultural issues, and explore how groups can pool their knowledge to reach consensus and develop solutions.

The final four contestants will each receive a $250 scholarship
